Click for bigger (273KB)
draw us the cheap and not so cheap bits of crap that gave you endless pleasure as a small kid.
most of mine involved flying things, shooting things, and loud bangs.

i always felt so smug when evr i managed to get a question right.. lol.. the same smugness i get when i get a countdown word over 5 letters long.

which is on par with that smug feeling when you go for a poo.. flush the toilet and it's still there half in the u bend sticking out the water. that kind of smug.

# That reminds me, I was going to draw some of my own Pokemon/spore style creatures.
Which were essentially just going to be things like a copy of the Radio Times wired up to some ham, and a Vauxhall Corso which fires breasts.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:20, archived)
# Do it then man!
What are you dilly dallying here for?
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:22, archived)

# I had a few of those wiggly rubber pencil toppers
i can't remember why..

general cartoon tie in toys.. that are mostly now in pieces.

I always got bought lego sets for christmas.. which my mum would make.. then they would never get touched again.

good times.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:13, archived)
# never had a leggo set as such
just a huge bucket full of assorted bricks,i dont remember making anything but massive towers with it.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:19, archived)
# my dad won through and we got one of those one year
it got used lots... we mostly built houses.

I rember makign a combi duplo and lego robot. that thing kicked ass.. although the kids in primary school called me a baby as it used duplo in it. so mean... so mean.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:25, archived)
# We used to get the wheels and make massive armoured car houses out of it.
Then smash them into each other and see who lasted longest. Best use of lego ever.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:27, archived)
# I remember introducing a lego house to a game of pool
that was fun :)
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:32, archived)

# I also had an Amiga and a box full of unmarked floppies, each one with a different game on.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:27, archived)
# Ahhh the Amiga, it's major downfall was the copying and cracking.
Although that itself opened up a lot of the versitility of the machine.

Modern games by comparison are so fucking easy you don't have to build your own hacks just to complete them.

# Woo! Everything except the flying saucers..
As I remember them, they were about 1" diameter, made of polystyrene and filled with sherbert.
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:22, archived)
# these ones came out of lucky bags
you catapulted them with a rubber band, sherbert flying saucers were fucking strange things, tasted like paper and battery acid
(, Sun 3 Aug 2008, 0:25, archived)
# Yep, now I know exactly what you mean.

# I had a rusty axe (it was blunt)
A climbing frame (with slide)
a swing with a see-saw
A saucepan with a lid that was too big for the saucepan and stones
a bmx, a bike where you had to pedal backwards to stop, two planks of wood and a pile of tyres
rollerboots
lego (space)
The axe/saucepan / lid/stones combo was used for games of "tennis"
That was about it until I moved to wales
where my saucepan/axe combo got left behind :(
edit : i fractured a bone in my ankle with the rollerboots but my mum didn't believe me so when I walk my ankle clicks
