Has anyone else noticed that the Little Princess' dad is Beattie?

# Oh, I know about Beattie, just this little princess thing I've never seen.... It was a sort of semi-RIS
but you are damn right :D
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:52, archived)
# Pfft!
He is a rubbish king though! Everyone knows Rollo is the true King!

(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:48, archived)
# :O
I remember that!
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:48, archived)
# Well you are a woman of great taste and memory then :D

# Fair do's
But some films should just be left alone.

# i must be the only person in the world..
who thinks rocky horror is crap.
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:54, archived)
# Obv I haven't seen it,
but I am guessing that it isn't meant to be a brilliant film in the usual sense. More just a bit of silliness for a couple of hours.
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:55, archived)
# Oh, it's not the best film ever made by a long chalk
But remaking it makes no sense
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:56, archived)
# I concur.
remaking films is just the laziest thing ever. I can't think of one remake that has been anywhere near as good as the original, let alone better.
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 13:59, archived)
# I can't really argue the point on that
I don't go and see remakes on principle
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 14:03, archived)
# John Carpenter's The Thing.
Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (Donald Sutherland version)

not that I advocate remakes, I usually hate them, but there have been a few excellent remakes.
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 14:15, archived)
# Tron remake ftw
p.s my uncle played the tranny (lead part, tho I have never actually seen it.) in the rocky horror show theatre production with russell crowe.

should i be proud? or ashamed?
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 14:47, archived)
# tron remake? I know they are doing a sequel.....
(, Wed 13 Aug 2008, 15:02, archived)
# I concur to an extent,
however, someall.

# anyone who doesnt want to know, look away:
they get to Hades, and Ulysses is told, if he leaves behind all his companions, he can go home. Instead, he tells the Gods where to stick their offer. They then point out that was the last test, that he has passed, his companions all wake up, they can all go home, and they do. there is a bit more to it, but that is pretty much the ending
