what do this drawings say about me.
Other than I love guys without a face.

(If they're too big I'll link one, and be very sorry)

# The comic character?
Not specially. By now the only comic superhero I like for his looks is Iron man.

# and possibly giger
who is meant to be pronounced ghee-ger. but i can never bring myself to say it any other way than guy-ger.

# not enough metal fannies for it to be giger
(i have the same pronunciation problem)
(, Mon 1 Sep 2008, 15:06, archived)
# Giger is intriguing
but I haven't seen enough of his works. And I totally disapprove how "kewl" it's becoming lately.
I'll investigate more on this disturbing attraction towards aliens and monsters thingy.

# 'lately'?
pfft. he's been around since the 70's. he's kinda passe now.
(, Mon 1 Sep 2008, 15:35, archived)
# No, but I mean how
all the cool kids today think he's liek totally awesome. Like Luis Royo, you know? With all the merchandising you can think of being printed.
I don't think that will happen with giger, though. I just fear it a little.

# That one on the left, crawling towards you
is absolutely excellent- it's a position I have real trouble with.

Have you done any life drawing at all? I'd love to see some of it if you have.
(, Mon 1 Sep 2008, 14:59, archived)
# The one on the right, you mean?
I think that one's awesome too

# :D you're like the best cheerleader ever
you're better than a small blonde girl- you're a big hairy chap.

I've got a VERY clear image of you in the little skirt now. How pleasing.

# haha "big" is such a relative term.
I'm only "big" in comparison with small people.

Does that count?

It wasn't even my boot.

# Yes I have
I have an enormous 100x70cm folder with life drawings, but I have no camera right now and can't scan them.
They are mostly constructive, though. Nothing polished that could be framed and hung on a wall.

And the crawling one... I always feel frustrated when I want to draw a person from a weird perspective, because I build people, and it's complicated. But in these sketches I just try to make curvy shapes. Sometimes it creates quite realistic effects that would look weird if I had tried to build them other way.
(, Mon 1 Sep 2008, 15:16, archived)
# Well I really think you did well on that one.
And if you're ever stuck for something to post, I'd love to see your life drawings. Truly I would.

# ooooh, that is brilliant stuff!

Oh dear. I can't help, I'm technically retarded.

By that I mean retarded when it comes to technology, but the other may as well stand as well. I could use an overly-enthusiastic black man to high-five me at any given opportunity.
