I would strongly recommend you hear the whole of Kerrier District... also if you like Aphex Twin (and LV) - perhaps you might like Gaslamp Killer or Flying Lotus

I haven't listened to it yet though so I couldn't say if it were any good -- he tends to put Death Metal and hard Northern European thrash and stuff on somewhere in the mix when he plays - so you might luck out.

that sounds good.
North European thrash? PLEASE say 'like Destruction'.

I used to have such a thing for Schmier.
Edit: you're talking MORE north, aren't you?

from the few (very good - IMHO) mixes of his I've heard he just plays what he likes, but it tends to be dark and a bit fucked up and sometimes it doesn't work and most of the time it does. A lot of old psych, a lot of Krautrock, Berlin School, grime, thrash, techno, hop hip and stuff like that.

edit - I think I'm talking let's pretend to be the goblins of the underworld king North

and I'm always cautious of radio 1 stuff, especially when it's people who are from the states -- the strangeness that I tend to geek out over seems to get left out sometimes,
