Sorry for the TJ, but I just need to ask a quick question: How many people here are designers, and how many of you are using Quark (or at least prefer it to InDesign)?
(, Wed 15 Oct 2008, 13:52, archived)
# I suspect very few
since Indesign is a Aston Martin to Quark's Maxi

Do you have a quark query? I could ransack my long-forgotten memories of it
(, Wed 15 Oct 2008, 13:57, archived)
# oh no, that's ok, I'm fine with quark,
it's just that who I'm working for atm wants everything in InDesign, which is fine, but they want to use the services of another company for a form of online publishing, but they requre everything in Quark. So i have to either convert everything to Quark, which is a complete arse of a job, or convince this other company to re-engineer their software to use InDesign. Which is even more of an arse to do.
