# Fwiday night, with...

(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:03, archived)
# I for one have actually had my friday night ruined
by not being able to watch Jonathon Ross.

Also, I would like to know how many complaints Gordon Ramsays program tonight will get!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:05, archived)
# I am offended by insipid tabloids.

# I AM OUTRAGED!
WHY IS GRACE JONES ON MY TV!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:47, archived)
# If we all complain 30k times could we get her fired?
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:50, archived)
# If we get 50k can we
go back in time and not have her in a Bond film too?
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:51, archived)
# The Daily Mail already control our tv channels, why not space-time?
We know they scour these pages for images, why not self-righteous outrage too?
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:53, archived)
# YOU HEAR THAT DAILY MAIL?!
DO SOMETHING THE PUBLIC ACTUALLY AGREE WITH FOR A CHANGE RATHER THAN SHOUTING INDIGNATLY ABOUT STUFF WE DON'T CARE ABOUT!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:59, archived)
# You forgot to add:
YOU SHOWER OF NAZI CUNTS!
(, Sat 1 Nov 2008, 0:32, archived)
# I personally couldn't give a toss how many complaints it got, I thought it was great
which is annoying really because I generally like Ramsey's hoarding of Tv programming and I shouldn't because it's cuntish. With this one I thought 'Oh God more Ramsey TV, I bet it's bollocks'
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:12, archived)
# Did you watch Gordon Ramsay?
There was one bit where a man simulated anal sex with a carrot. But I guarantee there will be no complaint! Not that I am saying there should be of course, but just pointing out the double standards.
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:15, archived)
# Brilliant wasn't it. LIVE TV IN PUBLIC HOMES WHAT A LAUGH!
Surely they won't do anything offensive or un-expected!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:17, archived)
# I know.
After they started licking cream off each others nipples though, I thought they would have cut the link :D
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:18, archived)
# It's edging towards Nevermind the Buzzcocks but with food and the Public
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:19, archived)
# Pfft!
Did you see HIGNFY tonight? Ian Hislop said that the last time Russell Brand was on the show, he didn't feel he was given enough respect!

LOL!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:20, archived)
# Argh! I missed it!
I don't really have control over the remote from 7pm onwards.
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:23, archived)
# Never mind,
there will be a few repeats during the week :D

EDIT: Or of course, HIGNFY :D/
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:24, archived)
# Huzzah! Now do I watch that now or Dead Set ep.3?
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:28, archived)
# Well I am saving all of Dead Set until tomorrow when I have loads
of free time myself :D
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:31, archived)
# i'm downloading them
and watching either tomorrow night or sun before work
but i'd also advise waiting for the extended hignfy
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:37, archived)
# I watched it when it was on anyhoo,
but I know I will watch the extended version anyway :D
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:48, archived)
# saw that bit
and monky, there's always iplayer. I suggest waiting until Have i got a bit more... is put up as it's that little bit more enjoyable
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:26, archived)
# On an iplayer-based subject
I'm watching the latest Spooks and they just said 'shut down the internet'

*facepalm*
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:44, archived)
# yeh i know
but it makes sense in the long run.

Missed a lot of last series, really think Ros and that other blonde bit are gonna piss me off. also not impressed with the "lets put some random black bloke in to replace Danny, but not give him any decent plots"
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:48, archived)
# Yeah, for the last few series it's all become about three people
Do you ever get sick of double-double-agents?

Is that a tripple agent or a quadruple agent?
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:59, archived)
# i liked the reference to tom
and i think Lucas is gonna be a decent agent, but hopefully future story lines are gonna be a tad more complicated than "Russia'll get pissed off when we tell them you're a mole even though we've got no evidence, come work for us"
(, Sat 1 Nov 2008, 0:04, archived)
# It was a little deus ex machina
I'm waiting for when Tom suddenly appears out of nowhere, and they start bringing people back from the dead.

EDIT: And it looks like they're killing off more talent next week - they go through contracts faster than the rest of the BBC.
(, Sat 1 Nov 2008, 0:11, archived)
# well keeley's not dead
Tom could come back as a foreign operative.

they didn't kill off that geeky one did they? i liked her, malcolm looks lost without her and Colin.

either that or they'll do a 24 and kill off all of them except Lucas, harry, and old girl who're all in harry's sealed office (despite the fact he hasn't even got an automatic door)

edit: nah they're not. i caught the end of the episode on three, cos my dad had flicked on despite not seeing either of the first two eps, or the first 58 mins of that ep.

it works with spooks because it shows them as human after all. but must be expensive when they do a faulkner (as it's become known)
(, Sat 1 Nov 2008, 0:14, archived)
# i am offended that you rely on Jonathon Ross for entertainment
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:12, archived)
# Bah!
Whatever! ;)
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:16, archived)
# As above

(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:42, archived)
# my mum complained about that
she wasn't too happy with me ripping the oven out of the kitchen and dragging it into the front room in order to participate

she's gonna sue C4 for the price of the new kitchen which asploded
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:12, archived)
# Pfft!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:16, archived)
# i do kinda like ramsey
and i do want to try his venison in chocolate sauce, but resent this belief C4 have that everyone has a telly in their kitchen.
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:24, archived)
# I resent this belief C4 have that I can be fucked to cook and watch at the same time
DID YOU SEE THEM COOKING! NIGHTMARE! I'D HAVE HAD A STROKE...

Over the RyanAir ladies.
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:27, archived)
# Yeah, what was that about?
The RyanAir trolley dollies have always been munters on my flights!
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:33, archived)
# RyanAir was the worst airline I've been on.
I literally fitted into my seat. The only part of my body I could manouvre was my head, far enough to rest my forehead on the seat in front.
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:37, archived)
# you get more legroom in a standard ryanair seat
(not the emergency seat) than on a train or a bus in the UK
I know this from experience.

I don't see what people's problem is, it's not as if they claim they're anything they're not.

if you don't like it pay more for your ticket and fly from an airport in another city
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:42, archived)
# I've never had a problem with seat space what with being rather little.
When I flew Business Class to New York I was confused at being lost in my seat D:
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:51, archived)
# I had no choice, it was an organised trip.
Personally I would avoid them, even before experiencing their flights.

(*ALTHOUGH* I may have been in the smaller seats, the last row at the back.)
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:51, archived)
# i love them seats
you get to see the engine split apart on landing :D

except for the front row, and two middle exit rows all the seats are the same size and identical. what pissed me off when we flew to spain was that their seats no longer recline (presumably cheaper) so i was quite uncomfortable when i woke up. but i didn't pay for the flights so men
(, Sat 1 Nov 2008, 0:28, archived)
# I'm 6'4
and Ryanair aren't particularly bad. I've had less legroom on BA than I get on Ryanair and there's a lot of trains -- Scotrail spring immediately to mind -- and pretty much any coach that has a lot less legroom.

Just a pity that where I live the only way of getting to Ryanair's airports is two hours on a coach...

(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:50, archived)
# haha
me and my dad (6'1" and 6'4" respectively) got exit seats on the way out to spain, so i got to spend a long time staring at our hungover stewardess's arse. think that might be why my dad "let me have" the window seat on the flight back

# You Can't beat old Wossy!
It's a pity the old hags at BBC listen to the demands of a wannabe satanic slut?
Over the genuis entertainer the man is??

# Although I like Wossy
I think it was a fair price to pay to get rid of Russell Brand.

Unfortunately he will probably get another well paid job very quickly. All publicity is good publicity in the celebrity world :(
(, Fri 31 Oct 2008, 23:15, archived)
