Also, am I likely to get flamed if I post my design for a book cover in order to ask for opinions...?
Edit: given how slow the board is, I could probably out run the flaming...

Then by the afternoon we'd been told it had changed.
To compensate though images will not reload when you refresh (so if you edit an image you'l have to change the filename).
And it now says that peas must go in existing threads.

Better than trying to guess how thick to make it. I just give them the colour and they print the text on it at binding.

Pied Wagtail I believe as your cover model, that's a saucy choice. Robin, Jackdaw and Greater Crested Grebe and erm Pink Billed er Ducky.
Can't fault it really, green and yellow are colours that the British associate with all things natural not sure about how that translates into other countries though.

French: haw-he-haw-he-haw.
German: RAUS, RAUS! SCHNELL, SCHWEINHUND!
Dutch: Hurdy-gurdy.
Oh, hang on, I get you...
The birds are;
Front: White Wagtail Motacilla alba alba (The pied Wagtail is just the British variant).
Back (top to bottom): (European) Robin Always forget the scientific name; Red-crested Pochard Netta rufina; (Western) Jackdaw Corvus monedula and Great Crested Grebe Podiceps cristatus.
It actually scares me I can remember the scientific names...

I'm not so sure about the way the pictures on the back share their border with the edge. Could they have the same yellow border as the front and the box on the lower back?
I guess on the full book, the cover will extend further into the fold that goes inside (whatever that is called).

It's not so easy to border the pictures all the way round because of the way they'll cut it - apparently there's a margin of error, so you have to bleed the cover. To get the whole thing inside the edges and safe, there wouldn't be enough room for the text.
