I used sobel edging and some other stuff to create a sketch-like image. Any advice?

My apologies for it not being a compo entry.

# noah!
didn't see him in last nights episode. also, if you need to give someone the complete formula plus the catalyst, then he's already got claires blood in him from before. If he were injected would he then have special powers?

*edit: him, not 'her from before'

has the manwife found a job yet cap?
(, Thu 20 Nov 2008, 15:22, archived)
# Ish. Contract work but it could disappear at any time.
People have said to me before 'oh he's obviously not trying then'. To them I say rather a lot of expletives and then wait for them to be made redundant. See how long it takes them. He's trying every single avenue he can.
(, Thu 20 Nov 2008, 15:23, archived)
# i would never doubt he's trying his hardest.
glad he's got something though!
=)
my old man is a brick layer, so you can imagine the nightmare he's having at the moment!

# Nope. Iplayer doesn't work on my home computer for some reason
or on this one, as I need updated flash or something. Ne'er mind. Discuss away chap.

# fair enough

My man friend calls me a guinea pig. I popcorn when excited, I have the figure of one, I *wheek* sometimes, by accident.

# Popcorning is basically jumping around and, far from being some sort of modern "yoof" slang
was around when the song "Popcorn" was released in the 60s(?). Basically you jump around to the song.

Our PE teacher in first school though it was a great way to give us all indoor exercise rather than teach us any kind of sport.

I'd really like to help but I couldn't make a sketch as good as that with pencil and paper, let alone a computer.

Woo Sirrah!
(, Thu 20 Nov 2008, 15:19, archived)
# It's not a sketch, it's a sketch effect
I've found the sobel edges from a photo, auto-equalised the colour, desaturated it, sorted out the curves a bit, bit of layer masking, bitta this, bitta that.
