# how did you manage to make it into work
when there is litterally about 2 inches of snow - are you some sort of cold weather survivalist expert? Do you have all the proper kit? Are you a polar bear?

# I'm in Edinburgh and it's mostly bereft of snow
... which greatly pissed off one of my colleagues who was getting ready to telemark into work

:)

# telemark?
Is that posh for work from home?
(, Mon 2 Feb 2009, 12:00, archived)
# nope - it's a type of cross country skiing
as popularised by The Heros of Telemark... although I think it requires a flatter landscape than Edinburgh provides... with all of it's uphill bits.

# You won't.

And soon enough, we won't either. It's snowing in the south and it's rapidly coming to our middle of the country now.

I was thinking more like Landed Gentry twisty moustache me, in the dormitory of a girl's finishing school? with my reputation? type thing. I've been working on it for a while and it's coming along rather nicely. One day I hope to be able to look like a kung fu master... then everyone will be made to suffer!
