/fidgets till thursday
watched the first one... went *meh*
Lady S watches it but then she likes shit american TV (cf. Brothers and fucking Sisters, Grey's Fucking Anatomy) and some good stuff like CSI.
But I can't get her to watch The Wire!
I've been dying to watch it and it sits on the shelf mocking me

The wire is indeed excellent
as is CSI (Vegas only, not the pretenders to the throne)

hahahahahahh! I have to say, after I missed the second half of season 3, I 've completely given up on lost.
in other news, i was just in the most boring meeting I have ever been in. utterly pointless.

I never could get to grips with it
I couldn't see any plot development or any direction to what was actually happening - just as series of cliff-hangers to keep people switching on to see if there was any solution to all this nonsense that was happening. It just seemed like the writers were mainly composed of a team of an infinite number of chimpanzees with typewriters - they previously wrote all of Shakespear's plays.

I lost interest when it started turning into homework.
All that bollocks about secret adverts and websites and stuff. It's just not what I want from my televisual experience :(
