yes, and it's both good and bad news
I'd rather they got one presenter, and stuck with him/her to make it their own.
And after much thought on this, Mushroom's suggestion of David Dimbleby as a new presenter has grown on me, he'd be perfect. They should consult with him immediately

Hmmm. Interesting.
He would work quite well, I agree; But I think Jack Dee is going to be great at it.

as will Fry, and Brydon, three excellent talents which will bring much good into the world of ISIHAC
but they'll only get short stabs at it and not make it their own, it'll turn into
the radio equivalent of the modern 'Have I got News' with their guest presenters.
For every Brian Blessed they get, they'll also get a fair few duffers :(
Dimbleby for Clue - the campaign starts here!

Yeah, I kind of take on board what you're saying,
but I like the way RB and BC described it on Today this morning as a 'Family', or a 'traveling Rep Company', it most definitely has that feel about it*
Anyhow, overall I'm very glad it's back. Rather made my morning amongst the usual doom and gloom of the news.
*From the recordings I've seen, at least.

I have been demanding crumpets since I moved here
but there is not a crumpet to be found anywhere.
I may have to unemigrate this God-forsaken crumpetless land.

I prefer the Stoke Newington Shuffle
It's like a regular shuffle, but it's organic AND free-trade.

pffft
SN isn't too bad for that tbh, it just has a high proportion of trendy couples with too much interest in organic veggie produce.
