Yes, I said I was going to have it on the sole of my foot but the tattooist said it would just wear off.
Yes, it is my own design.
Yes, the redness is the blood still seeping from the tattoo.
And yes, it was probably the most painful thing I've ever had done to myself... when that needle kept passing over the bones on the top of my foot..... OWIE!

pan- being at the start of his OWIE at the end. do i spend too much time here?

be inviting crafty mesage editing and being quoted out of context by saying something like that.

I have a little bat (the flying rodent variety of my own design which everyone says looks like either the bacardi bat or the bat signal) on the side of my leg and it didn't hurt at all. I guess there aren't many nerves there or something. The most painful part of that tattoo was pulling the masking tape off my leg when I took the dressing of it.
But this one was very, very, very painful. As the tattooist was going down the lines and filling in the spaces over the bones in my foot I could feel myself going into shock. My hands and feet started shaking (upsetting the tattooist), went a bit dizzy and felt slightly ill and my mouth went dry.
Like I said... OWIE!

(2 minutes to get there, 10 minute wait, 15 minutes of SEARING PAIN, 2 minutes giving my money, 2 minutes to get home)

only took 15 mins. As there's so much black i thought it would take a fair bit longer. (Make sure you protect the scab's when you wear your shoes - or it'll go patchy - then you'll have to get it redone - ouch!)
