it's not.
Both me and Archie have it as the worst film we saw this year.
There was a conversation about Asylum films yesterday ( they made such mockbusters as 'The Terminators' 'Transmorphers' and 'The day the earth stopped'

They make films for DVD in 21 days by ripping off whatever blockbuster is due out.

Mega shark was truly awful and I have seen some crap this year.

It's on the FTP, watch it if you want, but by jimminy it's bloody awful. I couldn't get to the end.

I like a bit of Kitsch and I'm a huge 1960's Godzilla fan but this is just wrong. It's not even 'plan 9 from outer space' bad that it becomes laughingly good. It's just an insult to anyone watching who's not been recently lobotomised.

For years I presumed Doc Savage: Man of Bronze was a hilariously bad film before I realised it's actually just a camp parody which is so well done it's honestly dazzlingly bizaare.

Conversely there are loads of films which are terribly poor which are worshipped as being brilliant, like turkish Rambo.

It's a neat cast, and successfully creepy.

That one was co-written by Billy Bob Thornton.
Raimi's a great director visually, but his writing is.. patchy.

It's one of the few films I've seen him in, so for a long time I didn't understand why people said he couldn't act. I've since learned, though.

...also, how did I go all this time not realizing Billy Bob Thornton and Sam Raimi were involved? I was probably aware of it at the time, but it didn't stay with me.

although they did make 8mm films together in high school.

The DVD looks fine to me, though I've heard some people say the effects look better on VHS (I have both).. the Bruce Campbell commentary is great.

I don't know anything about BluRay but I imagine it is the new betamax
