# Awwww
P.S. I don't think you're allowed to call them Coons anymore...

# yay!
We have two Maine Coon males.
The 5-year old is fully grown and about 7kg.
And the 18-month old is is taller and longer already, though he still has another 3/ or 4 years to grow yet.

They are amazing cats! Ours play fetch and wrestle with the dogs.

#
Get a Sphynx!

They are by far the most amazing, loving, crazy little gremlins you'll ever meet!

We couldn't afford one but found a Sphynx/moggie cross. He looks like a Sphynx with a fur coat on. Best. Cat. Ever.

# Coons are sweet but the hair - it gets everywhere. Everywhere!
And its a heaven for flees too. I think 'the Boys' - as my dad affectionately calls our two Maine Coons - would be much happier with shorter hair. Just think what a little diarrhea does, ever washed a cat's rear?
(I thought you had shopped the eyes in your post, but they appear to be genuine - weird... )

# ours
don't seem to moult that much, no more than any other cat.
Our shorthair moggy is much worse for coating your clothes with hair than either of the Maine Coons.
