I lost interest in season 3 but season 5 got me back into it. Now watching all seasons again ready for 6. I agree there were times when the filler sections were really irritating and the plot threads and backstories which went nowhere - but I really do want to see where it all ends up...

I call shenanigans on Sky's part
I watched the start and end of S1 (but not the middle, didn't seem to matter),a nd first two eps of S2 and just thought that the writers were being deliberately weird and obtuse, and would end up writing themselves in a corner that the final series will NEVER be able to write itself out of.
Or somwething.
Did they ever explain the polar bear in the first episode?
