# oo that's good
I have a feeling that this compo will just be "cut out a superhero and paste it on to a historical scene"

# cheers muchly
Have to agree I'm not a fan of Rufus Dayglo's work. And Ashley Woods was a horrible let down considering how amazing it could have been

# to be honest
I'm finding TG a complete waste of the very small number of comic pages in the megazine each month.

I'm just not finding it funny. Perhaps I outgrew that style of humour when I stopped scribbling nob gags on school jotters myself.

Not that I'm saying nobody would. The letters page seems to have had some glowing words on the subject, although they are coming less and less now. I'd just love to see something make more use of the pages.

# I would say the reason it doesn't work is because Hewlett's art was massively more entertaining
plus he added a whole load of extra throw away pop references which made it such a thing of its time.

# I'd have to agree
I'd admit i wasn't even a huge fan of it "back then", but I do remember it being witty and entertaining in its own quirky way.

A flame that now appears to have gone out.
