

Despite having two pieces of paper from the UK embassy in Australia and UK IPS guidelines proving my point, Australia Post refused to accept my passport application for a UK passport, saying the embassy and the UK Identity and Passport Service are wrong about countersignatures.
However, they very nearly took a $280 payment for it, while saying that they would recommend that the application be rejected without refund.
F******** RAAAAAGE!

The scenery's great, the wildlife is great, the transport in Sydney's very good. People aren't quite so hard-line conservative as some places I've been. Sure, it's got some issues, but it's definitely no worse than Blighty.
