This is a normal post I didn't know who she was until I looked her up on Wikipedia
"Following her resignation, she warned women against regular consumption of alcohol which she associated with her diagnosis of ADD, a type of attention deficit disorder.[51]"
So a drunk with attention deficit disorder then. I guess that explains it.

This is a normal post Just playing with Devils avocado here...
In the event of an large outbreak in this country you're going to need an authoritarian government to do the necessary to restrict movement, keep the infected quarantined.

I can't see Wallace doing that.

Plus the chance to see Cameron doing a photo op on an ebola ward is worth it.

This is a normal post The Tory Party are eviscerating the NHS
He will let 10,000 or so die, then he'll say the only way forward is privatisation.

This is a normal post If there was a cure or effective treatment then i'ld agree.
There isn't apart from hydrate and hope for the best.
I can do that at home and not infect health workers.

Also since when has Labour been the party to trust with the NHS?

This is a normal post That party died a long time ago.
Brown and Blair just wore it as a skin suit for a while.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:05, Reply)
This is a normal post This idea every party morphs into the Tories is just ludicrous and lazy politics.
I could never see the Tories introducing a minimum wage, working families tax credits, 50,000 more GP's - 100k more nurses, Irish peace process finalised. (Brown/Blair)
On the other hand we have tax cuts for the rich (with more further down the pipeline), disabled people 'not worth the minimum wage' ,cock pictures sent to newspapers and two MP's defecting to UKIP as the Tories are just a dried husk of a party. Didnt even get voted in last time and haven't held power in nearly 20 years.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:28, Reply)
This is a normal post Did I say that?
No I don't believe I did.

But if you want to put words into my mouth try these.
"Every party morphs into whatever shape they need to take the centre ground"

BTW the Irish peace process owes a lot more to Clinton Mowlam, NHS - PPI, Selling off gold reserves for a ludicrously low price.
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:38, Reply)
This is a normal post The gold reserves thing is a big 'what if?'
PFI was the only way to upgrade and renew a totally shot health service which had had nearly zero investment under Mrs Thatch.
Oh, Mo Mowlem was a Labour Politician (from Coventry too)
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:52, Reply)
This is a normal post Yes I know Mowlem was a Labour, it's just you didn't seem fit to mention her despite working like a legend to secure the peace.

This is a normal post The Tories appeared to have been until they got asked repeatedly why they were not screening at airports.
Looks like they cracked to public pressure.

(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:30, Reply)
This is a normal post Well that was my point, but thanks for putting it up in large print.
BTW Labour was also putting pressure on the Tories via the media to be screening at airports.

"Labour MP Mr Vaz said: "Our immediate response should be to tighten regulation and introduce measures such as screenings at airports, train stations and ferry ports to ensure that this deadly disease cannot take more lives."

And why would you follow someone so ghastly, or are people sharing this to antagonise friends?

This is a normal post Actually it was shared by my current MP.
I follow my current MP. He's nice. Although he doesn't have breasticles and batshit views.

I thought twitter was just about following mentals and hurling abuse at them anyway?

This is a normal post Exactly
most of the Twitter links we get here, or reported in the news, are just those of people fucking up and making cretins out of themselves. Classic point at the person making a mistake and mocking them. It makes me cringe almost as much as people typing bollocks onto that platform for vanity and 'me me me.'
(, Fri 17 Oct 2014, 9:51, Reply)
This is a normal post Sames goes for the amount of people here sharing Daily Mail links.
Deprive them the oxygen of publicity and they'll either go away or not.
Either way you don't have to read them any more.
Which is nice.
