global sales of popcorn have declined (albeit marginally) from 2015 to 2017.
Whilst a fatuous subject matter (unless of course you are in the popcorn industry), the allegories do not go unnoticed! :-)

I just hope that GOP get wiped out in the 2018 midterms.
Perhaps then the rest of them will develop a backbone and dump Trump.

So this way might be less messy. But he'd probably fight it just as hard as impeachment so maybe not. Great telly, whatever happens

When you coin a term like "FAKE NEWS!" and apply it liberally to stories about yourself which are supported by hard recorded evidence...
When your entire political career is so farcical that Poe's law applies to it at all times, how can anyone make anything other than a 50/50 guess as to what is or isn't true about you?
So long as a story is humanly possible, I could happily believe it about Donald Trump.

When you start claiming you've heard both sides of a phone call and seen one of the interlocutors shrugging people start to question that. It doesn't ring true. And if people start to question parts of it they start to question the rest of it, even the kernel of truth it might or might not be based upon

I listened to both sides of an entire fucking conversation on the train the other day between some woman and her mother about their sister/daughter, who apparently is a thoughtless bitch who doesn't care about anyone but herself

he'd have to be in Murdoch's office to witness all that unless it's been reported to him by Murdoch or someone else who was there who heard the convo on speaker. It's not something he would have picked up inside the White House

I mean, I don't know the veracity of this author, the book could be anything from massively lies, to based on office gossip, to painstaking researched and everything crossreference with other source. That Trump acts highly irrationally as president in his daily routines is pretty common knowledge to most who pay attention to US politics, it's not really that big secret, but recent behaviour does suggest an increase in this and its interesting to speculate why. Senility or stress?

With the Murdoch one it has to be true. If Murdoch didn't want that quote out there it wouldn't be out there. If you can stomach it Piers Moron's shitty book The Insider gives an insight into how the Murdoch operates.

Although, I hope they then don't bury him under the wall and we're left with a Mummy 3: The Dragon Emperor type scenario in hundreds of years time.
An undead Trump is too horrific to contemplate.

I fairly rapidly came to the conclusion that Trump didn't appear to be a smart guy. Irrational, massively conceited and easily influenced by flattery came across quite strongly. I havent really tracked his career to say whether this was always the case or that it was due advancing age-related senility. I think it says more about America that this wasn't immediately apparent when he nominated. It seems many responded to and credulously accepted his simplistic messages, and his innoculating supporters to disbelief any criticm was effective, though hardly unoriginal. Brexit already showed the way to this effectively by claiming media conspiricy. The Trump campaign merely copied.

We were trying to communicate with an adversary over the phone before we decided to go knock the guy off. We weren't making any progress when Trump grabbed the phone and started in with his typical crude way. He was brilliant, and solved whatever it was we were trying to do. I walked away with huge respect for the guy. I might add that in the dream he was even more obese and lumpy than in real life. I can't remember more of the dream, but it had all kinds of gangster stuff going on. Haha.
