This made me hungry, quite interesting.

trouble is, after all that, all I really want is a nice fried breakfast.... is that bad?

I think its mine and I get all confused and worry that I am posting without remembering... I think I might need a sit down.

Pork in porridge?

It means that in China I could justify stir fried chilli prawns for breakfast.
By the same logic I could eat steak and chips here at home for breakfast. Nice.

The breakfasts were a bit strange, a little to savory for that time in the morning. Only one hotel had butter, strange place but interesting. However BBQ pork buns were great for a nasty hangover.

on a Singapore Airlines flight when they served chilli prawns for breakfast. I just couldn't face it.

*Pet hate alarm*
Neither hash brows or black pudding have a place in a traditional Full English breakfast... once you add either of them it just becomes a variation of the fry-up.

Its the same feeling I get when I see people having chips on a full english. OUTRAGE!!

Agreed no chips.
East End tradition has bubble and squeak fried till browned, that and the beans will have you farting brilliantly all day.
In Germany I had a "yugoslavian" breakfast after a night on the pop with some mates. It was recommended as a restorative : Brat(or bock)wurst egg, bacon beans, tinned toms and toast It`s almost a ruddy full english.....why Yugoslavian? Ah, I see..... with lashings of pear and apple slimovitz, oh dear here we go again.

you just reminded me of having (shallow) fried mashed potato when I were a lad... ruddy nice it has to be said!

As hash browns are American, surely?
I've had a 'traditional' Chinese breakfast on a plane to the far east - spicey noodles and they were the hottest thing I have ever had. Never gone for the 'Chicken Porridge' at breakfast though.

Hotest thing I've ever eaten, not the best way to start the day.

...I love the Swedish for 'Pancake'. PANNKAKOR!!!
Sounds like an action film...
The Iranian and Polish breakfasts look fucking amazing.
Edit: Also, Welsh rabbit/rarebit is more than simply cheese on toast. You have to mix in mustard, eggs and Worcestershire sauce in to a buttery type substance to make it properly.

Hash browns on a full english!? - BOLLOCKS!

Then I'm doing it wrong. Then again, you can't eat pork at every meal of the day with all of that tasty cattle walking about.
