This is a link post Autechre - Gantz Graf - HD 720p version
A few threads down people were complaining about there not being a good version of the Gantz Graf video on youtube.
Well look here, someone's uploaded a high-res version.
You may need to click on the link then click on 'watch in high res' to get the full effect.

For those who don't know what this is, well, I probably wouldn't watch it where there are easily distracted people nearby.
Also it makes a lot more sense the 4th or 5th time.
Edit: Can't believe it's only 4 minutes long.

This is a normal post I consider myself one of the old school Warp fans
Draft 7.30 was pretty cool, but after Amber and Incunabula I rarely listened to anything they released.

According to Wiki, the NME reviewed this by calling it a 'festering hillock of tune-shy bum-wank.'

This is a normal post It's not for everyone.
The first time I saw it I just thought it was white noise.

Oh, and fuck anything the NME says about anything by the way.

Don't they report on Indie rock/guitar bands? Last I recall Autechre wasn't an Indie rock/guitar band.

Anyway, it's a fantastic visual representation of the music.

This is a normal post They are under the delusion that they know about "new music" in general.

This is a normal post They sort of do.
Just in one genre.

This is a normal post I know a couple of indie bands who've been featured in NME a fair bit.
It's really shown me how much they just recycle press releases and rumours and how little they really know about them.

This is a normal post Maybe i'm speaking out of turn
but that just sounds like random sounds, rather than sounds composed in such a way to make a meaningful music.

This is a normal post It's more about the watching than the listening.
There *is* a tune underneath all that though, it just takes a while to find it.

This is a normal post is music meant to be meaningful?
The 20th century composer Luciano Berio said it best when he said "Music is what one hears with the intention of hearing music"
