OK...
If - for the sake of the argument - O didn't get the majority of the popular vote, that raises two questions.
First: Who cares? US presidential elections aren't about winning the popular vote anyway. They're about winning the College.
Second: Would Trump have responded in the same way in respect of Bush v Gore? Doubt it...
