You can remove the foil by using the static electricity generated by your television set. Simply hold the bottle by the end and strike the top smartly against the screen. Works the same for plastic foil too.

They have little cutters to trim the foil off from the top of the bottle. Well worth a couple of quid.

You can just grab the wrap in your fist and twist it off. It's usually very easy. Occasionally impossible, for some unknown reason.
