I think i saw that girl on a program about all of this.
I loved the narcolepsy AGM, where they had to have 3-4 people taking the minutes as only one of them might be awake at any one point in time..

My ex brother in law had narcolepsy.
He took prescription speed. He once fell asleep crossing a tram line in Manchester city centre.
He used to get serious night terrors and slept with a meat cleaver under his pillow, which was just one of the reasons my sister divorced him.....
