The former Mr Quar also hates liver, to the extent that he pronounces it 'rivel' so as not to have even the name of it in his mouth.
I hate him almost as much and would like to send him a large parcel of liver, dripping bloodily raw, but daren't because he would send me a box of my own phobia-object by return of post. The bastard.

I have been veggie for over 20 years,
However, I still have very fond memories of my mum's liver and bacon supper. Yum yum.
What's wrong with it Picky Ricardo?

I just really detest the taste
Far too strong.
I also have a big problem with any form of pâté for that matter.

I'm wondering..
If that was pig or cow liver, in which case I'm with you all the way. However, my Mum used to cook with lamb's liver, always with bacon and mash, was lovely..

I'm not actually sure
It was served to me a greasy spoon cafe with the rest of my fry up. So I would hazard guessing whatever the cheapest liver is.

And kidneys also
why eat the organs that taste like piss?
Also, why do people eat organs that have such disgusting functions? Surely lungs and brains are less disgusting than pissy, bile-y liver and kidneys? Maybe lungs taste even worse.

Lungs are hard to boil as they float on top of the water and push the pan lid off.
Just saying.

Roast lung maybe?
Google says "roast venison lung puff treats for dogs". Doesn't sound very nice. Can't be worse than a steak and kidney pie though. If I wanted my steak pie to taste vaguely of urine, I'd piss on it myself.

Or you could get that cat to do it for you
that widdled on a well-wrapped chocolate bar a few pages back.

I'm sorry
but you're wrong. Liver and Bacon is one of the great food combinations ever ever.
