Marketing bollocks, buzzword bingo, or your mum saying "fudge" when she really wants to swear like a trooper. Let's ride the hockey stick curve of this top hat product, solutioneers.
Thanks to simbosan for the idea

Marilyn Monroe was curvy, you're fat. You ate too many cakes. There is nothing cute about your look.
I have recently tried the whole online dating thing. You can tell the fat ones as they don't have a profile picture and state they are 'curvy'. It gets even more ridiculous when you find a rare one that does have a picture. I can see from the picture that there is one continuous curve to your figure and really, you are not curvy, you are spherical.

But, perhaps, people could look past "fat" and try and get to know other -- you know? Actually talk and get to know personalities?
If you're looking for a shag then a few hundred will get you a whorehouse trip to Amsterdam, if you're looking for "love" (whatever that is) then what the fuck does it matter what she looks like?

...but, if we all shagged people on the sole criteria of personality, wouldn't we all be bisexual and forever shagging our friends?

There is such a thing as Sexual attraction also, of course, but some of the stick-thin types out there hardly look fecund. There again, I'm asuming that one is searching for a relationship and, also, someone to procreate with -- which brings me back to my point about whores.
BTW I am not puritanical and I'm pro-whore -- I just think people are too hung up on apearance(vested interest, I'm am ugly guy).

means "very fat"
see also:
bubbly = "fat and loud"
large (or larger) lady = "enormously fat"

To be fair, a lot of these dating sites dont actually give you much choice with their body shape options thing. You'd have to actually say "I'm a gargantuan landmass of overweight blubber" in your profile.
I'm fat myself, and have on occasion looked at online dating sites, but can never be arsed to pay to join them.
Edit: And no, I would never describe myself as either cuddly, voluptuous or curvy.

...I don't mind curvy in the true sense. I don't like stick thin. I like a bit of 'meat on the bones'. I think a few curves are nice and natural and a bit of skin hanging off a skeleton are horrible.
I agree on the personality thing as well. I don't rule out fat people, but I do rule out the dishonest and those that don't actually accept their own appearance.
As far as online dating goes, I like my outdoor activities such as cycling, skiing, walking in the hills, camping and rock climbing. I want somebody who can appreciate at least one of those activities and come and join me. This does tend to rule out people of a certain size as somebody I could see myself spending time getting to know! I would hope that after a few dates, I could take my 'potential partner to be' along on a trip to enjoy the great outdoors. If they want to huff and puff up the high street to burger king, they're not really my type!!

incredibly dull, but occasionally quotes a phrase from an obscure comedy show they saw a while ago, but when nobody responds to the reference, will claim to be 'mad' (like the 'you don't have to be mad to work here but it helps' posters). See also Colin from the Harry Enfield show.
