That little yellow picture of an engine is a MIL (Malfunction Indication Light)not a MIL light, that is tautolgy and you deserve to die!

they have always been referred to as "idiot lights", meaning that you are too stupid to understand the information supplied by an instrument, so we'll just give you a light to tell you that things are out of limits.

Bit Unfair
Bearing in mind that the engine management processor monitors more information than is displayed on the dashboard. If you can actually understand the 30 or so parameters in real time and work out which one is out of limit I take my hat off to you
