This is a question Celebrity Encounters III

I once stood next to Ian Beale out of EastEnders in the gents' toilets at the BBC. BEAT THAT. Tell us of celebrity encounters that went well, or meetings with the famous that ended up as a complete disaster. (And we'll take it as read you've just made up a "I got touched up by Jimmy Savile" story, OK?)

I once shared a platform at Earl's Court station
with angry west-country humour-vacuum Justin Lee Collins.

I did not push him under a train. To this day, I am unsure about whether I made the right decision.

Its almost like they sometimes travel the country
in order to perform shows...

I saw him at Hitchin rail station.
He's a lot fatter in real life. Running for the taxis seemed to make him angry.

The court proceedings indicate that many things make him angry.

It's a great shame about him.
He played a cracking stand-up gig at my local in Somerset before he was famous - seriously.

I was so disappointed with the telly that he did.

The wife-beating was quite lol, mind.

He must live round there. I often see him at Earl's Court/South Kensington stations.
He always looks like he's in a rush. I suspect he's always running away from women he's beaten up.

My ex used to rent a ground floor flat around the corner from him.
So sometimes I would see him walk past outside.

Sadly, the windows weren't big enough for me to get a proper shot off with my sniper's rifle.
