here. Mmmm, look at all that delicious(ly described) food.
What they don't mention is that none of it is made on the premises.
It's all prepared in factories, put in vacuum-sealed bags and heated in the microwave, like at Little Chef, but about three times more expensive.
Bon apetit!

All chain restaurants have stuff made in central kitchens that they heat up. Even small restaurants and pubs will pre-cook a lot of the dishes and heat them up. There's nothing really wrong with doing that.
Unless it's circles of puff pastry pretending to be a pie. That ought to be a crime punishable by a slow and agonising death.

Looking at the menu now there seems to be a lot of grilled and fried items and not so much 'stuff in sauce' so they may have changed a bit since 2005.

Microwaved omelette sounds pretty grim. If you can't make an omelette then you shouldn't be allowed in a kitchen.

and it made me cry how many so called Chefs applied for jobs yet couldn't make a basic Béchamel, fillet a fish or basic soups Blah blah.
Most of them had learnt to microwave things in bags.
In life there are cooks and there are Chefs.

I spent a small fortune in this Cafe once, and got a really poor effort at a salmon steak with some potatoes. I was forced to go because it was someones birthday.
