First World Problems
Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

Football
I've known grown men cry over thier football team losing, which seems pretty fucked up too me.
A friend of mine, who supports sunderland, didn't speak too anyone for 3 days after they lost 5-1 too newcastle. A grown man unable to function due too the loss of a football team.

I can't fucking stand football.
But i'm a geordie. If I let slip my derision during the inevitable chat topic between newly acquainted males, I have several times been mistakenly assumed to be gay.

Its not the emotions that are daft, its getting emotionaly involved in a game of football. it just seems like crying because your team lost is the ultimate mark of having a relativly care free life. Your team losing dosnt mean the end of a life, it isnt putting you in a financial difficulty, hell, it dosnt even mean the team are finished.
Im not beamoning people getting emotionaly involved, im just saying, its an indication that life is pretty good.

Not purely a first-world problem though ...
Third world folks can be even more fucked in the head about it. cf Football War of 1968, El Salvador v Honduras.
And not forgetting Liverpool.
