B3TA fixes the world
Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Why not
leave them on GMT all year round instead? After all, the idea of a world time standard was started here, and Greenwich was chosen as the baseline, so it would be a bit silly if we were out of sync.
And if you need more light at night, get up earlier. That's all that the fannying around with the clocks does anyway.

Getting up earlier is fine as long as what you're getting up for does require a set time.
also GMT is a strange a concept to get nationalistic about.
