This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Make old people re-take their driving test
Say at the retirement age. If you're apparently too old to work then you need to prove that you're not too old to drive.
There are far too many avoidable accidents and frustration that leads to accidents caused by old people not being aware of their surroundings, driving too slow, failing to indicate etc. etc.

So what your saying is
You drive like a twat and it's other people's fault?

Not at all, I experience all this as a passenger. I don't have a car licence
I do however have a bike licence but it's not old people who've nearly knocked me off on numerous occasions, they've mostly been women and taxi drivers not looking when pulling out of side roads late at night

Statistically
young people are far far far far more likely to have or cause an accident than oldies, and there's more of them driving.

As for not indicating, that's mainly Volvos, BMWs and Mercs. Middle age cunt cars.

They do actually already! You'll be most pleased to hear.

My parents are 80 and 64 and they've both retaken their tests, my father's retaken his three times now.
