This is a question B3TA fixes the world

Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

Some consistency please
So you want to tax the shit out of harmful drugs but cut tax on fuel, which kills several thousand people every year through atmospheric pollution and enables the death of several thousand more through traffic accidents.

What's your overall aim here?

I don't understand either.
After all, it's well known that recreational drugs keep people's homes warm in winter to stop them from dying of hypothermia. They're also good for getting people to work so they can be productive members of society. Oh, and good luck powering an ambulance without some form of illegal drug.
