I can only assumethat when you say "guns for i phones" you mean take away the i phone and hand them a gun, you can't stop a thief with an i phone, but you stop some twat with an i phone with a gun.
Probably "greener" too, all those nasty things need to make an i phone compared to a bit of steel in a gun,and a reduction in the number of people polluting the planet as well as turning them into organic fertilizer. (wrong "green", I know)

i'm all for inflicting pain on thieves and i phone users , i just see a load of mates talk and do nothing but play on there i phones so it's an obvious distraction and i assume people will be too involved with there new shiny technology to stab each other to death... or am i too optimistic?
