Moon Monkey says: Turn into Jeremy Clarkson for a moment, and tell us about the things that are so obviously wrong with the world, and how they should be fixed. Extra points for ludicrous over-simplification, blatant mis-representation, and humourous knob-gags.

All those who aren't "fatties" or "chubby" to be made to run on treadmills which generate electricity to power TVs and pizza ovens for the "fatties". Well, I say "made to" -- those perfect people who make sweeping statements about fatties must be in perfect physical shape themselves and must thoroughly enjoy as much exercise as they can possibly have.

Or just standing up for the slightly jollier looking members of society?

I'm probably a little overweight, but mainly a beer belly so not sure what that makes me.
I'm not really sticking up for anyone either, just pointing out that some people have a rather strange attitude towards attributes which others have which don't generally affect them in any way.

They spend most of their waking hours worrying what other people think of them.
Nobody really cares. The idea that the worlds population are given to making 'sweeping statements' about it is almost comical.
Just go to the gym, eat less and you won't need to worry about it any more.
Scousers - same, plus get rid of the shell suit.

I beg your pardon, were they talking about something else when suggesting that McDonalds be fitted with thinner doors or fat people made to run in hamster wheels?
I may have missed it, but I don't see any posts in this QOTW from overweight people making excuses for their weight, but I do see a lot of posts suggesting that overweight people must be made to slim.
Granted this is hardly "The worlds population" but, then, I didn't say that.

Lighten up would you.
If you'll excuse the expression.

As someone stated below, the engineering involved in making hamster wheels for fatties would be a difficult problem, but it would be easier for thin people.

My post about the fat people on hamster wheels was a *joke* because it is a bad idea for many, many reasons. I thought that was the point of this QOTW? You mean we have to come up with good ideas that might actually work?!

The degree of engineering required to ensure sufficient robustness of the fatty-wheels.
Can you imagine the cost?
