Cliche - I know. But what were you up to this time 7 years ago
Me? I had been made redundant and was worrying about paying the mortgage when I heard the news of the first aircraft hitting the WTC. All of a sudden my problems were put in to perspective

What a thrilling and wonderful QOTW this is going to be. The potential for humorous anecdotes and interesting stories really has surpased expectation this time.

Tidgy fishes
Following from my earlier post (last week I think) the tidgy fishes are doing well but numbers have dwindled to x5.

It is also with much regret that I have to inform you all that mummy Molly has sadly passed away. I think the trauma of childbirth was too much for her to bear.

RIP Molly xoxox

Kaol's Question Of The Day
Right, the world is still here, despite what those fuck-wits at the Daily Mail said.

So, keeping on the theme of Apocalypse,

If you could do one thing before the world ends, what would it be?

No points for "Not dying".

If this question is too hard, then what would be your "Death Row Last Meal?"

What do you think about this?

Personally I would use QOTW a lot more if it were organised like /talk.

Can we get back to talking about JMG and JMG fashion?

(, Wed 10 Sep 2008, 17:46, 1 reply, 16 years ago)
I've had an idea... but im not sure what people will think of it...
I'm a bit fed up with b3ta and the changing of the QOTW nonsense. I'm currently setting up an "make your own" QOTW sort of thing.

Now, i'm not sure if it'll take off or people will reject it entirely, so what do you all think?
This is more of a community project, so i'm not really deciding what goes on it, but i do need people to ask for stuff.

It's rather like a bigger, longer and uncut off-topic without the /talk

edit: any prettier

Today's mini question
what's the stupidest thing you've ever blurted out without thinking?

the most recent one I can remember is when I was communicating with a colleague sat near me via office messenger.

I had said something that he'd misread, causing him to type "you're a lizard?"

I turned to him and loudly said "I'm a lizard?"

but it didn't come out in a questioning tone.

I got some strange looks for that I tell thee!

http://rss.axai.net/b3ta.php?qotw=offtopic will give you "offtopic" question
http://rss.axai.net/b3ta.php will give you this weeks question

Enjoy, let me know guys

I've not 'ignored' anyone before

But I've just discovered that the OT board looks a lot nicer with a little judicious pruning.

And it keeps my blood pressure right down!

If you 'ignore' someone, does that mean they can't gaz you?
