Every so often I decorate my kitchen cupboards with art postcards to cheer me up whilst I am in there. I've had Mucha, vintage adverts, and those travel posters. I should really clean my cupboard fronts and put something new up.

I can't fucking stand most of the furniture though. particularly that mirrored stuff.

but saying that, I wouldn't decorate my house art deco. It's probably more suited to large 1920's hotels.

the really shiny orange wood with all the grain showing just doesn't appeal. Or the horrible horrible mirrored stuff.

They had loads of lovely original furniture. Now they have 3 kids so it's all given way to plastic toys and shite
Actually now i remember their xmas present to me is an old photo of the inside of a theatre from the 1920's with the lovely old seats etc. It's stunning.

Some of the buildings are awful, have you seen the hoover building (aka the tesco building) on the a40? It is the only grade one listed art deco building in the uk and... Well, i'd nuke it.
