It's supposed to be -28 to -40C here Sunday night.
How's your winter going in the UK?
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:38, 34 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
All good thanks, we had snow, which makes everything look nicer
It is cold and sunny today and a couple of degrees.

Where are you? Canada I'm guessing
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:39, Reply)
Vermont (in the US)

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:44, Reply)
I had to wear my gloves yesterday.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:39, Reply)
How do they fit you?

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:40, Reply)
Fine!

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:41, Reply)
Awful!!!

Are you a Benny tied to a tree?

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:17, Reply)
I am 100% on the loose.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:20, Reply)
ARRAGH! BENNY ON THE LOOSE!

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:21, Reply)
I don't stop wearing my gloves until about April!

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:44, Reply)
We never wear gloves up here, we're tough (and none of us have any fingers left).

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:46, Reply)
I thought you were Northern and 'ard?
Oh and congrats on the engagement!
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:47, Reply)
Aww cheers!
And no, I'm extremely nesh.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:51, Reply)
Do you pay extra for different types of gloves?
I donno, donno how this works, might pay more, might pay less.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:44, Reply)
Freezing fog yesterday, but just freezing today
Cycling in it's not fun.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:41, Reply)
Use a car, it's warm, and you can listen to the radio

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:42, Reply)
Costs money, parking here is a nightmare, and I want to get fit
But by God is it tempting on these mornings.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:01, Reply)
I'd rather have really cold but clear weather than freezing fog or rain.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:45, Reply)
I prefer foggy/rainy weather.
More, you know, atmospheric man.

Cold and clear is boring.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:03, Reply)
As long as the rain isn't freezing on everything, rain is just as boring.
It however gets really exciting driving when the rain freezes and everthing is glare ice!
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:09, Reply)
Nah! cold and clear is where it's at.
Clear skies so you can see the stars at night and cold enough that it bites.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:10, Reply)
How poetic!

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:13, Reply)
Innit.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:14, Reply)
Well done dappy.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:16, Reply)
Yeah
freezing fog here too. Resulting in a car crash just outside where I work. Not fun getting home.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:45, Reply)
Have you winter snow-pocalypses at the airports ended finally?

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:50, Reply)
Yeah pretty much
I didn't have any problems flying out of the UK on 30th Dec, or back in on 2nd. Its bright but freezing right now.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 14:54, Reply)
MTFU
I was still cycling when it was -7, I only stopped when it snowed because I'm not suicidal.
(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:17, Reply)
I'm not bitching, just saying it's not fun!

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:21, Reply)
I'm pretty sure we'll be getting some weather.

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:08, Reply)
you must be psychic

(, Fri 21 Jan 2011, 15:10, Reply)
Physicked.
