Mildew stinks of shit
She rolled in something nasty in the forest this evening. Several baby wipes later, I can still smell her so the next step is to deploy the Febreeze :o/

bathing her when she's this bad is not pleasant.
I have to wrestle her to keep her in, which results in me resembling a council estate stinky wet T shirt competition - then the entire bathroom needs scrubbing from floor to ceiling. She doesn't do "sitting nicely" in the bath :o/

My mate used to wrestle her shitzu in the bath, it was fucking comical to watch.
I bathed her the next time and made it totally stress-free and fun and slow and quiet and she loved it. I got to bath her from then on which suited me, fucking thing had a fungal skin infection so she stank he house our four days out of seven.

When are you coming up north mate?
With much coaxing I can get her to stand relatively still, so long as her face doesn't get wet. *shakes head*

Just try and make it as fun and stress-free as possible
and instead of that rotten smelly doggy shampoo, just smear her with shit.

Trust me she's an utter spacker when it comes to bath time.
Which is odd because when she's out near water, you can't keep her out of the stuff!

Put some shells around the bath and salt in the bath water.
She'll never know.

Fill the bath with mud and water and leave it to go stagnant for three months.
She'll get in it soon enough.

Echo is the same
in the bath, she is completely calm but hates being in it, she doesn't mind it when I use a wash cloth on her. And she quite likes it when she's wiped down with a towel.
But out near a river or something she loves it.

Our old dog used to look really grumpy when you gave her a bath
and she would take wait until she was standing next to something valuable before she shook herself off. You had to stalk her holding a towel and when she started to do the full body shake, chuck it over her to stop water spraying everywhere.

Biscuit and Benji just stand in the bath or shower till it's over.
Very still and well behaved even when being towel dried. Onced out of the bath Biscuit rounds round like a demented thing rubbing up against the soft furnishings to dry herself.
