if it's hot you'll save a fortune on cold drinks around the pool. you don't have to eat there every night.
i was really resistant to all-inclusive after a shit one in cuba, but jamaica, grenada etc have really converted me.

i always use trip advisor now, have been stung by what looked like a brilliant 5 star, turned out to be half-built and in the middle of NOWHERE. anywhere that says "suitable for families and couples" is going to be dullsville.

Local cuisine is the whole point of trips abroad (unless you're in Libya, the food there sucks. Kazakhstan also not the tastiest of venues.)
