Only supposed
to have a spoonful, but I convinced my brother to give me a litre when the nurse was out of the room. The look on his face when he was told I could've drowned was hilarious*

*may not be as funny as described

it's a cliche but true that you don't appreciate stuff until you've not got it

Oh my goodness !
A few times I've gone nil-by-mouth for a few months, it's amazing how it changes your perception.
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:22, Reply)

Yup... a forumuler called "CT3211", smelt like off milk, consistancy of a McDonalds milkshake, second and third times I was allowed crusha milkshake with it.
Nestle sent me boxes and boxes of crusha, all sorts of expermental flavours. I <3 nestle for that.

not really I don't give a shit.

(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:27, Reply)
I didn't have milk for about 3 years, the smell made me retch, it's rare that I have milk now. I like the taste now but it put me off for years.
I love Yop because Yop is Love.

Is that those horrible
drinks designed to cram calories in?
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:28, Reply)
They explained to me like a reboot, it's the base of what you need to live, it's got stuff that nobody is allergic too.
And after the two months they reintroduce you back onto foods, the first one was potato (no skin, no salt, no butter, just potato), then it's Marmight.... every week you get a new one, and it's the most nicest tasting thing in the world each time. If you get bad, you go back two weeks and see if that is the thing that causes it.

Turns out, it's not food related.
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:31, Reply)
Oh slightly different then
after I came off the IV they made me drink these horrible milkshake drinks which are full of calories.
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:33, Reply)
Ohh, I know the ones, loads of kids in other beds had to have them.
I find it hard to believe that they sale them (more or less) in shops now and people drink them instead of meals ! I don't mean Weight Watchers, but like the Nutrisomething ones.
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 15:42, Reply)
I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it.
