The Yellow Pages used to have a section that said
Boring: See Civil Engineers.

After discovering this I immediately texted my brother, training to become a Civil Engineer at the time, and he pinned that page to the noticeboard at his work. Score!

it is totally right. Civil Engineers on the whole are complete fucking dullards with a massively over-inflated opinion of themselves.

Fortunately I am a hydraulic engineer.

I am actually technically a civil engineer. I'm not typical of them though. The majority are very grey and very unimaginative
