I am temporarily delurking.
I need advice re. work and my rights. I have a boss who has taken a clear and personal dislike to me and who sees fit to criticise and berate me in front of colleagues.

I have been in the company for nearly a year and permanent since January.

Currently, my team has had its size halved, so all the work previously done by six staff (including two trainees, me included) is being done by three of us- the two trainees and a more experienced colleague.

I am of course looking for a new job, but my notice period is two months. What should I do? Unreasonable demands are being made of me but with less than two years service I don't think I have any legal recourse.

Everything can be sorted with a 15" black rubber cock.
I believe Noel has one.

Whether or not you have 2 years service
you are still entitled to have reasonable demands made of you, not unreasonable ones. Go and see the bosses boss. Explain what is going on and tell him that if it continues you may be forced into looking for another job. Stress that you would prefer to stay in the company though

Then fuck them all over and get a better paid job somewhere else.

...or use Noel's 15" black rubber cock to beat him to death ala Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

I have no confidence in being listened to by the bosses' boss.

I am going to keep a diary of the snide remarks and bitchy behaviour.
Label it "quote book" and keep it on my desk.

As long as you've been there longer than 12 weeks you have plenty of rights.
Write down your issues so that when you take your employer to task you don't omit anything: it will help keep you calm and rational as well.

If your workload has literally doubled you are within your rights to object , unless of course you all did sod all before...

Fuck their shit up, yo.

Go to your CAB office
Those snivelling weasels will generally give you salient advice and may correspond directly with your employer re your initial grievance. Seek out your employee handbook for the policy on raising an initial grievance in any event.

Have you got a decent phone?
Record the cunt. Make sure you have complained in writing to his boss though then you can claim it was a no other choice recourse.
