I had enough wagering with the poker last night
I won my money back by finishing second in the 1st game, then should have had a massive chiplead in the second when I got put all in by the chip leader. I had pocket jacks to her pocket nines.

Then a 9 came on the flop and that was it for me. :( But I didn't mind too much as I was a little tipsy and completely and utterly stoned.

It happens
I was playing a tournament the other week where it happened to me. Six people left, first prize £270. I was probably playing the best of the remaining players when I got it in with aces against jacks. Winning would have made me huge chip leader. The guy rivered a straight. No money for sixth place.

I tried to give her a stupid poker nickname but I don't think "chunky bracelet" stuck, even though it was funny at the time.
