I'm lazy
I should have got a 2i and didn't. If I had, I'd be doing my PhD now and all manner of science-y, career-y type things planned out for the next few years.

I'm increasingly more tempted to settle for an easy life rather than one filled with hard work and stress.

It's not a bad idea
only problem is to get money for food, house and shiny things.

A house?
You mean, get a mortgage on a scientist's wage? Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Ahaha. Ha. No.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:42, Reply)
Well, no
more like in a place to live, you know. Even if it's rented.

^this
I managed to cruise along without doing any actual work, and got a 2:2. If I'd applied myself I might have actually got something worth talking about.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:30, Reply)
This sounds very familiar
When people challenge me I say, to get a 2:2 by doing fuck all work is actually a decent achievement.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:32, Reply)
It's not really though is it.
I got a first and I'm certainly not a poster boy for hard work.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:33, Reply)
Depends what you studied really, you contentious bloater.

(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:36, Reply)
Chemistry

(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:37, Reply)
I hated what little chemistry was involved in my degreee,
mostly because it was bundled into medical pharmacology courses, which are utter cunts. I think I had an inorganic chemistry course with a crazy Italian though, that was quite fun.

was that so you could make your own MDs?

(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:39, Reply)
No
I used to enjoy playing with Ether. Except for when I actually wanted to achieve anything in the afternoon.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:42, Reply)
Alright smart arse
Either way it's utterly pointless now, my work experience is far more important.
(, Thu 14 Apr 2011, 10:36, Reply)
exactly
Besides, I knew dj would want to look good, and his 2:1 followed by PhD at 23 just wouldn't look as good otherwise.

Brainy bastard.
