I spent today putting up a tent and de-spidering it, and unfolding a blow-up mattress and then realising I had no foot pump, then buying one.
So now I am ALL set to go camping with Noel when he gets here. :D

I'm going to a festival next weekend, so that should be fun. However, I have a feeling that camping where you are is a distinctly more hardcore experience.

It's only hardcore in that we have a risk of spiders and snakes getting into the tent. Hence always ALWAYS zipping it up!

That's the only bit of Australia that scares me- the prospect of becoming lunch.
Well, that and the box jellyfish, or the irukandji.

Big difference in size though.
I really, really hate jellyfish.

I think it's the years of going to Crosby beach and seeing hundreds of them dead.

Cover them in sand then drop a big fuck off rock on them. SPLAT!

And I don't mind the thought of spiders & snakes too much usually, it's scorpions that freak me the fuck out.

But scorpions automatically make me brush myself down, in case, somehow, one has managed to crawl onto me. Ugh ugh ugh.
*freaks out*
