We've been asked to come up with a new name for our remote deployment system
Theres a bottle of fine wine in it for the chosen suggestion.

One of the guys has just said "I believe strongly in calling a spade a spade" Is it just me or is that quote a tad racist.

It's not just you.
But it does indicate that you're a tad racist.

I like this
I don't think it will win

Some gayer has suggested Remote Automated Package Installation Deployment, its totally shit but it will win because the Acronym is RAPID

What's a remote deployment system?

(, Wed 13 Jul 2011, 15:02, Reply)
In an attempt to make IT people lazier and fatter
We remote deploy operating systems and all software remotely over the network, allowing us to rebuild entire suites of PC's and Macs very quickly without getting up off our arses, leaving more time for internet porn and B3ta

Thank you both
I suggest "Spaff Enabler"

You racist colleague does have a point though.
What is wrong with calling it the remote deployment system? Or if that really is too many syllables and people are happier with abbreviations: RDS?
