I've never understood the attraction of cheese scones.

proper cheese scones made by your mummy are the best.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:54, Reply)
Or Clendrix.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:55, Reply)
AA, they are FREE cheese scones
Good with a cup of coffee
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:55, Reply)
Can't stand coffee, I'm afraid!

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:57, Reply)
Normally I'd say FUCK OFF THEN
but I'm in a good mood so I'll just say that it leaves more scone/coffee for me
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:58, Reply)
Tea is far superior.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:58, Reply)
They're nicer than plain ones.
They have cheese in them, you see.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:56, Reply)
SCIENCE!

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:57, Reply)
I agree on cheese improving most things
But I like my scones piled high with jam and cream, and it just wouldn't be right, surely?
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:57, Reply)
It would not.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:58, Reply)
What would you have on them then?

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:58, Reply)
On cheese scones?
A fairly thick spreading of butter and nothing else. If you eat them like this when they are still warm from the oven you have a delightful little snack on your hands.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:00, Reply)
this is why OT is in such a fucking moribund state.
Nobody has said that scone is the fastest cake in the world.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:06, Reply)
There is a reason for this

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:06, Reply)
also, why the fuck are scones being discussed?
I'm boycotting the scone chat.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:08, Reply)
The reason is either
a) that it is, in fact, the fastest bread in the world or
b) that it is s joke so lame Jeff turned it down
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:12, Reply)
a bread which has starved itself?

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:18, Reply)
nice ninja editing.
You missed one.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:20, Reply)
I haven't missed you.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:21, Reply)
There are more rounds in the magazine
Keep trying
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:22, Reply)
You have a strange interpretation of 'boycotting the scone chat'.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:20, Reply)
it's because I love you too much to stay away.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:24, Reply)
Hmm, that sounds rather good...

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 9:06, Reply)
I've made feta, sundried tomato and olive scones which are nice.

(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:57, Reply)
Oh lordy!
They sound excellent!
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:58, Reply)
They will be when I've mastered them.
They can be a bit dense.
(, Fri 5 Aug 2011, 8:59, Reply)
Dense scone is still scone
