That's where the dragons live, well, some of them, there is one in the grand canal in venice.
He's been there for 10 centuries now, they kind if built it around him, he has the noose that hanged Judas and the stone that locked jesus into a cave, and now he has the button that'll get you to the neitherlands and into filroy. The only way to seek audiance with him, if he does chose to speak to you, you need to put on the finest clothing in the land, have a chattoux briand that has been aged for exactly 1 month*, and jump from center of the nearest bridge to the mouth of the river. The dragon who lives in the canal in venice is the only known salt-water dragon, they normally don't like it because it spoils the steak.

* This is problimatic because some months have 28, 30 or 31 days. It's a month with 30 days you want.
