generally i avoid soy sauce because i don't really like chinese food much and it reminds me of that. but i can see how it might liven up mash.

the amazingly wonderful "fire and stone" pizzeria does some pizzas with soy sauce, but most of their asian range don't have cheese on. eg they do a yellow thai curry pizza!

but i need the tomato sauce on my pizza for the full experience. i usually have the cairo, with loads of veggies and goats cheese. the main thing about this place is that they really pile up the toppings, you don't just get a thick crust and soggy cheese, you actually get the toppings you want!
